Interactive whiteboard teaching:

The instructor can then manipulate the elements on the board by using his/her finger as a mouse, directly on the screen. Items can be dragged, clicked and copied and the teacher can handwrite notes, which can be transformed into text and saved. They are a powerful tool in the classroom adding interactivity and collaboration, allowing the integration of media content into the teacher and supporting collaborative learning.
Purpose:
An electronic whiteboard is a hardware device that is similar to a whiteboard that is found in schools and businesses. it transmits any information written it to a computer or multiple computers. They also allow live interaction with digital objects on the screen.

Interactive whiteboards enhance classroom instruction and leaning. Anything that can be done on a computer monitor. it can replicated on the interactive  whiteboard. A teacher can create engaging lessons that focus on one task such as matching activity where students use either their fingers or a pen to match items.

Teacher can use the wide variety of online information sources such as knowledge databases, online video and news items to reinforce their lessons. Learners can also quickly access the wide range of powerful tool and resources to conduct research and supplement their usual study material.
